Course Publishing and Content Integrity Policy

Last updated: March 09, 2026

This policy outlines the rules governing course and event publishing on the Experts platform, including structural content integrity, instructor responsibilities, and platform safeguards designed to protect learner progress and grading fairness.

1. Instructor Responsibility

Instructors are responsible for ensuring that the content they publish on the platform is accurate, lawful, and consistent with professional standards applicable to their field of expertise.

Courses must provide genuine educational value and must not contain misleading or deceptive information.

2. Course Publishing Requirements

Before a course or event can be published on the platform, it must meet the platform's quality and structural requirements.

These requirements may include minimum content thresholds, complete course descriptions, instructor profile verification, and appropriate categorization.

3. Structural Integrity of Published Courses

Once a course is published and students begin enrolling, certain structural elements of the course may become restricted from major modification.

These restrictions exist to protect learner progress and ensure fairness in grading and certification.

Structural elements that may be restricted after publishing include:

  • Lesson structure and order
  • Assessment rules and grading logic
  • Completion requirements
  • Certification criteria

Minor content updates such as clarifications, additional resources, or improvements may still be permitted.

4. Course Pricing

Instructors may update course or event pricing after publication. However, price changes apply only to future purchases and do not affect students who have already enrolled.

The platform may apply additional restrictions to prevent abuse, including temporary limitations on frequent price changes or price changes during active promotional campaigns.

5. Course Updates and Versioning

If significant structural changes are required after a course has been published and students are already enrolled, the platform may require the instructor to create a new course version rather than modifying the existing structure.

This approach preserves the learning experience of existing students while allowing instructors to improve their content.

6. Content Moderation

The platform reserves the right to review, moderate, or remove courses that violate platform policies or applicable laws.

This may include courses containing harmful, misleading, or prohibited content.

7. Certification and Credentials

Instructors may apply for certification status where applicable. Certification may require verification of academic credentials, professional licenses, or performance metrics defined by the platform.

Certification status may affect instructor visibility but does not necessarily limit the ability to publish educational content.

8. Policy Updates

The platform may update this policy from time to time in order to improve platform integrity, maintain quality standards, and comply with regulatory requirements.

9. Certificate Issuance & Accreditation Policy

The Experts platform may allow courses to issue certificates of completion to students who successfully complete course requirements.

Only instructors who have been verified under the platform's academic certification program may issue certificates representing professional or academic credentials.

Courses created by instructors who do not hold verified academic certification may still provide educational content but may not issue official certificates representing academic or professional qualifications.

The platform may instead provide a generic certificate of completion indicating that a student has completed the course content on the platform without implying professional or academic accreditation.

The platform reserves the right to review, approve, or revoke certificate issuance privileges where necessary to protect the integrity and credibility of certifications issued through the platform.
